journal 1 - Why was the Marbury vs. Madison case so important?

Journal 4 – How did factories change America?

Journal 5 – There were two major effects due to industrialization according to your handout of the Industrial Revolution. Describe three.

Journal 6 – Who was responsible for the arrival of the textile industry in America? How did he or she do this?

Journal 7 – Describe improvement in transportation in the U.S as a result of Industrialization.

Journal 8 – Choose one social, political, or economic effect of Industrialization. Research and write to paragraphs on what you find.

7th Grade - Journals 1-10

Journal 1 – What is the difference between a political and physical map? Globe and map projection? (Grade and review handout ‘Let’s Travel the Earth’)

Journal 2 - What are lines of latitude and longitude?

Journal 3 – Choose any three landforms and describe them in your own words. Use your notes.

Journal 4 – Choose any three bodies of water and describe them in your own words. Use your notes. 

Journal 5 - List all of the landforms and bodies of water that you’ve seen in person. Use your notes. (Review “Can You Identify Nature’s Creations?)

Journal 6 – List as many states as you can without looking at a map.

Journal 7 – Describe the topography of North America in your own words from east to west. You may use your notes and map.

JOURNAL 8 – HOW DO YOU THINK THE FIRST AMERICANS ARRIVED IN AMERICA? 

JOURNAL 9 – What is history and why is it important to learn history? Mention: multicultural history, primary and secondary sources.
