Finish reading the packet "From Colonies to an Independent Nation." Complete the questions on pages 32 and 33. The highlighted and completed packet will be graded: 1 CW Grade. 

On Friday you will have a quiz. You will need to know the following:

1. The different policies that the Colonists protested and were angry about.
2. The first permanent English settlement in America.
3. The definition of 'abolish'
4. The definition of 'intolerable'

Short answer response: choose one (5 points)

1. Describe how tax on tea imported to the colonies led to a serious revolt. 

2. Describe any three of the following acts: Quarering Acts, Stamp Act, Townshend Acts, Intolerable Acts, Navigation Acts, Sugar Act, or Tea Act.

Journal 22 - What would you have done differently had you been King George III during the rebellion of the Colonies? 

*read the packet to identify how he ignored the grievances that the Colonists sent to London (capital of Great Britain). Instead of trying to reason with them, he sent more troops to Boston.
