Winter Recess HW

If you did not submit the 4 Square Product project, then that is your winter recess packet. Please look below for instructions.

             Below are the instructions
                 (Assignment sheet)

          Choose two tasks from below:

I will use this rubric to grade your project:

Below is a sample outline that you must complete:

This person chose a research paper and a poster as her two tasks. If you want to choose two tasks from the "written" category, that's fine.

Below each task you will indicate what topics you are covering in each of your tasks. There are four topics and they all must be included within your two tasks.

Below are sample tasks completed by a student. The parts that are highlighted indicate what I asked you to research in the assignment sheet above. This student did a great job because she included everything she was supposed to include.

Sample task 1 (Poster) about "Pre-Columbian America" and "European Exploration." Remember that "Pre" means BEFORE Columbus, so you are mentioning Native American cultures.

Sample task 2 (research paper) about "Spain Conquers South America" and "Exploring and Settling North America."

I will use the rubric above to grade your project. If you have any questions email me: misteroliveros@gmail.com. Have a safe and productive winter recess.
